Rubberneck is an LA-based punk/alt-rock band known for fusing raw energy with melodic hooks and a sound that bridges the intensity of ’90s punk with a sharp, modern edge. Formed in 1995, the band quickly carved out a name in the Southern California scene, playing alongside heavy hitters like Bad Religion, NoFX, Rancid, Sublime, Deftones, and Snot.
Their debut album Victim (1997), produced by Ryan Greene (NoFX, Lagwagon), helped launch the band into national exposure. Rubberneck toured extensively across the U.S. and Canada, earned consistent college radio airplay, and appeared on the 1998 Vans Warped Tour. Their music was also featured on ESPN’s Pro Beach Hockey, FOX Sports’ Planet Extreme Games, and in multiple extreme sports videos.
After a long hiatus starting in 2005, the band reunited in 2023 to a strong wave of support. With new material underway and a renewed drive to perform live, Rubberneck is ready to pick up the momentum and take it even further.
